Hawaii Medical Service Association donated a telemedicine kiosk to help Ka‘u residents cut costs and travel time for basic medical care. The kiosk will give residents quick access to a physician via remote, two-way camera connections.

Community members are invited to attend a dedication and demonstration event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Ka‘u Resource and Distance Learning Center, 96-3126 Puahala St., in Pahala.
